Plying Magic!

I had a skein of thick-thin hand spun wool yarn, that was 

lovely in it's own way, but a bit dull for my purpose. 

So I plied it with wool yarns and ribbons, silk and novelty yarns!

Not a bit dull anymore!

Let them make scarves!

 After such a great scarf class last week, and considering feedback from my students, I have decided to re-structure my classes.  I will be offering the Nuno Felt Scarf Workshop straight off, no pre-requisite.  And the reason why?  Everyone wants to make scarves!  Beautiful, wearable scarves.  And honestly, who can blame them.

Nuno Felt Pillows For The New Sofa

Everyone loves the new sofa

Meandering Vines.......Completed!

As promised, here is the finished nuno felt cotton gauze shawl,

finished in time for the Talmadge Art Show this past weekend.

My friend Cielo Pessione, who makes beautiful crochet jewelry and accessories,

graciously modeled the shawl at the show. Her crochet necklace goes perfectly with the piece.

I'm more than pleased with the result.
