Fiber Earring Challenge

Pat Riesenburger, of the The Crafty Retailer, has offered up a Fiber Earring Challenge too good to resist. The prizes are, to say the least, tempting. I offered, for consideration, two pair of my felt ball earrings. I enjoy combining the hard and shinny metal,
with the soft and often whispy fiber.
This link will take you to Pat's blog and information ( when you scroll down)
The deadline is Feb. 23, so hurry and enter your own fiber earring creation.

Same Great Show, New Venue

I'm so excited about the February 27th, Talmadge Art Show. This time at a new venue in Liberty Station, Point Loma. For you San Diegans who have not discovered Liberty Station and NTC Promenade, you are in for a treat. With great restaurants ( my favorite being Tender Greens) and beautiful galleries, you can plan a delightful outing!

NTC Promenade Event Center
2875 Dewey Road, Corner of Dewey and Truxton

I am proud to be going into my seventh year of selling and showing my work at
The Talmadge Art Show

Hope to see you there!

Antique Nuno

I have been collecting old lace for years now, and I'm glad I did. This scarf I call "Antique" for just that reason.

Some of the lace I used was hand dyed

Black scrim provides a dramatic base.

The bits of old lace and the velvet that I dyed in deep jewel tones,
lend that rich antique look.
