Autumn Retreat on Whidby Island

I'm pretty excited about being asked by Beverly Ash Gilbert to be a part of her annual Autumn Retreat on Whidby Island this coming October. Between the beautiful scenery and exciting bead and felt workshops, not to mention the wonderful gourmet meals to nourish our creative selves, a great time will be had by all! I am teaching four days of felting.

Beginning with my basic nuno felt workshop, participants will create felt pieces suitable for pillow covers, wall hangings, folded clutch purses etc. etc.
Nuno Felt is so versatile!

Followed by a day of scarves and ruffles
to experience the true magic of Nuno Felting

And by special request, the ever popular,
Stringy Thingy

Plus my newest class,
Felted Ropes, Cords, and Beads

Hope you can join us!

  3. Hi Arlene,
Your workshop sounds like heaven. I just love that stringy thingy project, it's too much fun!
I think you sent me a message a week or so ago-on FB-? Did I reply? I just can't seem to find the message anywhere, and want to make sure I got back to you. Let me know, send me another message or an email to valsart@me.com.
