A very special blanket for a very special baby!

I made large pre felt pieces of each color to cut squares for this sweet little patchwork.

Wetted and ready to roll!

I just love the soft edges that happen when I full the wool.
So soft, and ready to keep a sweet baby warm and cozy.
A friend has a baby on the way and this looks like a great project for me to work on ....if I can get the hang of not over felting my prefelt .
ReplyDeleteIt looks so soft! I like that it's not bulky but would still be warm.

Welcome to Cofeeinpot!!
Hi there, I love your work and think you'd enjoy hooking up with my close friend Brenda Marshall in the Midlands, UK. Like you she has a felting workshop and runs courses. You would hit it off - no doubt - and could exchange ideas/inspiration, as your styles are both unusual and similar! Good luck, Jenny - UK
ReplyDeleteThe colors and the pattern are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI have a question. On this project did you use a silk or cotton backing or just wool? Thanks. It's truly beautiful!
